Eight musicians out of Wangaratta, and four of them are a horn section: two saxophones, flute and trumpet. Sweet Buzz build a night in stages. Easy songs while the room fills, then the horns come in and the dance floor does the rest. Weddings, winery events, private parties and celebrations are their usual run. They'll learn a special song for a first dance, dress to a theme, or set up in two spots so arrival drinks and the dance floor both get live music. The PA covers speeches and MC duties, and there's stage and dance floor lighting. Give them about two hours to set up. Insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Eight musicians, and a night that's paced rather than just loud from the start. Easy songs while people arrive and find their table, then the horn section arrives and the dance floor takes care of itself. Two saxophones, flute and trumpet do that lifting. Sweet Buzz work with you beforehand on what the evening should feel like, and they'll learn a song that matters to you or dress to your theme. They also tend to end up dancing with the guests, which tells you how seriously they take themselves.
On the day
Roughly two hours to get the sound and lighting rig up. It's an eight piece band with a full light system, so that's not padding. Build it into the schedule so the setup is finished before guests start arriving.
Performance options
The Reception Package covers cocktail hour with easy listening, then high energy sets for the dance floor, songs of yours that they'll learn for the key moments, a full sound system your MC and speakers can use, and stage and dance floor lighting. Add the Ceremony Package and the vocalist and guitarist play the ceremony too, learning your aisle and signing songs or choosing something that fits, with a PA speaker the celebrant can use. The Second Setup Package adds a second position for the band so an earlier part of the reception gets live music before they move across. They run that one off a portable cart with its own power, so no extra supply is needed. Other events get shaped to fit.
