Sunroom got their name from the habit of singing rainy-day songs in one. Rory Dollard and Kaya Tominaga play jazz and contemporary standards with a touch of melancholy running through them, plus originals about love, lovers and laundromats. Rory's guitar leans nostalgic, Kaya's vocals wistful, and the interplay between the two is the show. The repertoire stretches from Billie Holiday to Esperanza Spalding. Both are full-time musicians, which shows in how the room warms up. Brisbane based. They bring their own amplification and just need power. Public liability insurance in place.
