The act

A rock, pop and soul atmosphere could take on unexpected string colours at your wedding with StrungOut, whose format includes voice, viola, cello and double bass. Lead singer Tim Hood developed the idea with arrangers Timonthy Kraemer and Bill Thorp, reworking a collection of classic songs for strings and voice. You could make that instrumental treatment a featured reception performance, especially if familiar musical styles played through strings are part of what excites you. Tim now fronts separate StrungOut groups in London, Madrid and Perth, taking the arrangements between those locations as part of the project's international performing life.
