What to expect
A band with real presence on stage, playing covers or their own material depending on what the booking calls for. The sound is properly finished rather than rough around the edges, which is not always a given with a trio this size.

The act
A family trio out of Hervey Bay, playing indie folk with pop and rock underneath it. Stix & Stringz put out their own material alongside covers, and the two sit close enough together that a set can move from Wonderwall or Riptide into an original without the room noticing the join. Festival stages have started opening up: Gympie Music Muster in 2025, then Agnes Blues, Roots and Rock in 2026, and a crowd of more than a thousand at Camp For a Cure. They carry a battery powered rig for spots with no mains power, and a bigger system when there's an outlet. Up to four hours of music. Insured.

On the day
A covered performance spot is what they'd rather have, though they will play without one. Power is the interesting part. Their larger sound system runs off mains, but where there is no supply at all they switch to a battery powered rig instead, so a paddock or a remote spot is still workable. Let them know which situation you are in.
