From a formal wedding procession to acoustic music around drinks, Stage Door gives you several moments to shape through live performance. Ensembles range from two to eight players, with broad musical styles and professionally trained musicians behind the different combinations. You can choose a tailored set from their repertoire and discuss learning a request, with the musicians working to accommodate your particular musical tastes. The moment to hear the fuller ensemble could be when the reception opens into dancing, with the songs you have chosen together ready to carry that part of the evening.

The players in Stage Door are professionally trained musicians, and the practical result is a band that can genuinely change shape. A formal wedding processional, an unhurried acoustic afternoon, then dance floor material later on, all handled by the same group. The set list is put together with you from a wide repertoire rather than handed over as a fixed list. And if a song you want is not already in it, tell them. They'll learn it, and their view is that they'll play it better than the original.
On the day
Two hours for bump-in is the usual figure, then an hour for bump-out once the night is done. Worth pencilling those into your schedule early, because venues with tight access times are where this catches people out.
