Spud Thompson sings and plays a bit of everything, and the material moves accordingly: plain ballads and folk one moment, vintage rhythm and blues or electronica the next. Mostly original songs, though covers are no trouble. The act is based in rural Victoria between the beaches and the bush, and the setup is genuinely flexible. Full band with their own gear is the preference, but it can be stripped back to a trio, a duo, or one guitar and one voice if that's what the space wants.
