Peter Famularo plays saxophone over professional backing tracks, which means one player covers a full sound. His repertoire leans soul and swing: Ain't No Sunshine, My Girl, What's Going On, Fly Me to the Moon, Take Five, the Pink Panther theme. Plenty of Burt Bacharach in there too. It suits the parts of an event where people are eating or mingling and you want music with warmth rather than volume. Peter brings his own PA, which can double for announcements, and he'll put together a playlist ahead of time if you have particular songs in mind. He works bars, restaurants, weddings and functions around Yamba and the Northern Rivers. Setup and pack down take about an hour, and he needs roughly three square metres under cover with a power point.

Good to know
What to expect
Peter plays saxophone over professionally produced backing tracks, so a single player fills the room the way a small group would. Warm stuff, mostly: soul, swing, a stack of Bacharach. Good music for the stretch of an evening where people are eating or standing around talking and you want something under the conversation rather than over it. His PA comes with him and doubles for announcements when someone needs to say a few words.
On the day
About three square metres of floor under a roof, with a power point Peter can reach for the PA. He'll have it all up or all packed away inside the hour.
