Three musicians, no gimmicks. slap Bam BOOM play classic rock, rock and roll and blues, with the 50s and 60s end covered properly: Elvis, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Del Shannon, Carl Perkins. Then it broadens out into Australian classics and blues. Their view is that the music is what makes a function, so they'll work with a host on the set, including background music before things kick off and any requests you throw at them. A typical night runs three sets. They need power and roughly four by four metres of flat, covered ground. Public liability and professional indemnity cover are held.

Good to know
What to expect
Three experienced musicians who take the view that the music is what makes or breaks a function, and behave accordingly. They're not precious about it. If you want particular songs, or background music running before the night properly starts, that gets worked out with you rather than dictated at you. A typical booking runs three sets, built around 50s and 60s rock and roll, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, then widening into Australian classics and blues. Requests on the night are welcome too.
On the day
Power, and a flat patch of covered ground around four metres by four. That's the whole list. The cover matters more outdoors than in, and flat is worth checking on grass or an uneven courtyard, because a wobbling drum riser or amp stand causes more trouble than it sounds like it should.
