City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band
The act
City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band is a Newcastle-based Scottish pipe band.
Bagpipes bring a colourful, ceremonial grandeur that few other sounds can match, and City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band plays them from its base in Newcastle, NSW. The band can scale to your celebration, anywhere from five players in a mini band up to twelve for the full turnout. That range runs from backyard get-togethers to lavish ceremonies. You might have the pipes lead your bridal party down the aisle, or play the two of you out once the vows are signed. A smaller group suits a garden or backyard wedding, while the full band fills a bigger ceremony space with colour and sound. Pipes outside as your guests arrive at the reception are another way to give the day a ceremonial start.
