Sartika sings, plays guitar and DJs, sometimes all in one night. The repertoire runs pop, jazz, R&B and soul through to rock, from ABBA and Fleetwood Mac to Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars, and the set can be delivered solo with guitar, over backing tracks, alongside a DJ or in front of a band. The live experience is real and varied: busking on Brisbane streets and markets, festivals including Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Yonder, Brisbane Pride and Brisbane Street Art Festival, and regular gigs at The Brightside, The Tivoli, The Bearded Lady and Woolly Mammoth. Weddings often go live music first, then DJ sets once dinner clears. Based in Fortitude Valley.

Pop, jazz, R&B, soul and rock all sit in the repertoire, so a restaurant dinner and a party can both be covered without booking two acts. Years of busking on Brisbane streets and markets sharpened the crowd reading, and festival stages and rooms like The Brightside and The Tivoli did the rest. She'll sing over her own guitar, over backing tracks, alongside a DJ or in front of a band. The style and the look get matched to your event's theme rather than forced on it.
On the day
She arrives with her electric guitar, a vocal processor and a sampler that lets her add effects and drum loops behind her playing. What she needs from the venue is a PA and a mixer, plus a trestle table if the DJ controller is coming out. Microphones, a portable speaker, DJ controller, booth monitors, stands and cables can all be supplied instead, though that's arranged separately. Sort out which side is covering sound before the day and the setup is quick.
Performance options
The live wedding option runs three hours of performance, not counting bump in and pack down, and covers up to thirty six songs. If you want the night to keep going after the guitar is put away, the combined option adds DJing: roughly two hours live, then four hours behind the decks, six hours all up. That second one covers a full evening with one person, so there's no changeover gap between the live set finishing and the dance floor starting.
