Baritone guitar gives Roo Friend's blend of blues, folk and jazz a distinctive starting point for the music at your wedding. He plays standards and covers alongside original songs, with influences ranging from Wes Montgomery and Arlo Guthrie to the humour of Frank Zappa. You can explore a solo performance, a duet with saxophone or a trio that adds drums, depending on how you picture the music fitting into your reception. His background includes study with Ike Isaacs and Tommy Emmanuel, as well as guitar and banjo work in music theatre orchestras and performances with Col Joye, Little Pattie and Normie Rowe.
