A voice, a guitar and run of songs your guests will recognise from the first bar. Roger has spent years in clubs and pubs and at weddings, harbour cruises, private parties and conference dinners, and it shows in how he paces a night. He likes the challenge of covering wide ground with such a stripped back setup. Before the day, you and Roger work out the music together, so the set arrives already pointed at your crowd rather than being guessed at on the night. The sound gear is professional and comes with him.
On the day
Power, and enough room to set up in. Roger sorts the rest out with you beforehand rather than turning up with a list of demands on the day, so if your venue has quirks, an awkward corner, a long carry from the car park, a shared power board, mention them when you enquire and he'll plan around them.
Performance options
Beyond a standard covers set, Roger builds themed shows. AsAussieAs is Australian artists and nothing else, start to finish. He'll also put together a run of fifties and sixties hits, which lands well at a milestone birthday where the guest of honour grew up on them. Any other way of arranging the set is possible too, decade by decade or something you've thought up yourself. And on the night, guests scan a QR code at the tables and choose from his full repertoire as the evening goes.
