Rob's view is that background music has a job, and the job is to make the room feel good without stealing attention from why everyone is actually there. He plays songs people know and like, at a level that lets conversation carry on over the top. He's on site at least half an hour before the start to set up and check everything works. Before the day he'll talk through what your event needs so the set arrives already pointed in the right direction.
