The act
"I was born in the wrong era," Rick Correnza has said, and he sings like he means it. The Great American Songbook is his territory, roughly the 1930s through the 1960s, with Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday all part of the evening. Beyond jazz and swing there's soul and R&B from Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding, plus eighties pop and rock when the room wants it. Over 250 songs on offer. The Melbourne act scales from a piano bar duo up to an eight piece brass band, and Rick has MC'd plenty of weddings and events if you need that covered too. A house PA keeps the cost down, but he can bring everything.

What to expect
Jazz and swing is the main event, and the size of the band moves to fit the night. A duo for a piano bar feel. Up to eight pieces when you want brass in the room. Rock and pop bands can be arranged instead if the occasion calls for something less formal. Rick has also MC'd a good number of weddings and events, so if you need someone holding the running order together as well as singing, he's done it before and will help however you need.
On the day
Flexible on this front. If the venue already has a PA and sound system on site, use it - that keeps things simpler and cheaper. If it doesn't, the whole lot can be brought in instead.
