The covers run from Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Dolly Parton, Pat Benatar and U2 through to Pink, Adele, Breaking Benjamin, Stone Sour and Nickelback, spanning the 70s to now. What sets the duo apart is the other half of what they do: folk songs from around the world, sung in other languages, drawing on Faun, Skald and Wardruna. So if Celtic or Nordic music is your thing, that's rare and it's here. They write originals too, and a portion of what they earn goes to animal welfare. Nowra based. What to expect
Two ways this duo can go. Laid back, with a melodic take on songs you already know, or wound up until the floor fills. Seventies through to now, so The Eagles and Dolly Parton sit in the same set as Adele, Stone Sour and Nickelback. Then there's the part nobody else offers. Both of them sing world folk material, not in English, taking from the likes of Wardruna, Faun and Skald. If Nordic or Celtic music means something to you, good luck finding that anywhere else on a function stage. They write their own songs too.
On the day
All their own gear travels with them, so there's nothing to hire in. A power source is the only thing needed at your end. That keeps them easy to place, whether the spot you have in mind is a proper stage, a corner of a function room, or a marquee in a paddock somewhere out of Nowra.
Performance options
Recorded music is provided between the live sets, so there's no silence while they're taking a breather. If your venue already has a PA and they can plug into it rather than bringing their own, that reduces the cost of the booking, so it's worth checking with the venue before you enquire. Tell them what you need, how long you want them playing and what the room is, and they'll quote on it.
