The act
Scale is the useful thing about the Power Divas. They'll come as a full cover band, or drop back to a quartet, trio, duo or solo singer, which means one act can cover a whole day from the ceremony through to the late set. Genres run wide: pop, rock, R&B, funk, disco, country rock and easy listening. They carry their own PA, speakers and lighting, and a DJ plays back to back with the band so the music never stops between sets. Brisbane based and regularly out at pubs, restaurants, functions, festivals and corporate events across the city, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

Good to know
What to expect
The band changes size to suit the hour. A full cover band for the dance floor, or a quartet, trio, duo or single singer when the room wants something smaller, which means one booking can carry a ceremony, a dinner and a late night. The genres spread wide: pop, rock, R&B, funk, disco, country rock and easy listening. Brisbane pubs, restaurants, festivals and corporate rooms are their regular ground, so they're used to reading a crowd quickly.
On the day
Their own PA, speakers and lighting all come with them, so the venue doesn't need to supply a system. The other thing worth knowing is the DJ, who plays back to back with the band. That means the gaps between sets aren't silent and the dance floor doesn't empty while people are packing up guitars. You'll want floor space for both the band and the DJ setup, plus power nearby.
Performance options
The standard booking is Power Divas with DJ Yasi, two sets of forty five minutes with a fifteen minute break between them. If you have a running order for the night, speeches or a cake cut at a set time, the break shifts to fit around it rather than the other way round. PA system, lights and the rest of the gear come as part of it. DJ Yasi covers the interval, which means nobody stands about waiting for the room to come back to life. Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast are all regular ground.
