Tilomai Siva Samoa
The act
Tilomai Siva Samoa is a Brisbane-based Polynesian entertainment act.
Graceful traditional Samoan siva is the first thing your guests would notice here, with expressive storytelling and cultural choreography at the centre of Tilomai Siva Samoa’s performance. Then the pace can lift into livelier, rhythmic pieces, so you get both the gentler side of Samoan dance and its more energetic pulse in the same show. Based in Brisbane, they perform work that celebrates the traditions and spirit of Samoa through dance rather than treating culture as decoration. For a wedding, this feels especially right during canapes or just after the ceremony, when people can actually watch the movement and take in the detail. The moment that stands out most is that early part of the day, when a cultural performance can set the tone before dinner pulls everyone back to their seats.
