The act

Playdate is fronted by Mirasol, a singer who has been part of the Australian live music scene for more than ten years, backed by professional players who have done the same. The material is danceable funky pop and rock hits from the eighties through to now. What sets the band apart is the care taken with sound and lighting, and the fact that the energy on stage is genuine rather than performed. They turn up in proper dress, communicate well and are easy to deal with on the day. Suits most events, which is not a claim every band can honestly make.
