The act
London born, Sydney based, and in demand as a voice long before her own name went on a poster. Paula Baxter has sung with Christine Anu, Richard Clapton, 1927, James Morrison, Mark Williams of Dragon, Paul Mac and Jessica Mauboy, and backed international tours for Tony Hadley, Belinda Carlisle, Josh Groban and Michael Franti. Her own duo and band play soul, funk, disco, house and pop, delivered in a voice that's sultry and powerful in equal measure. The setlist leans dancefloor: Superstition, I Wish, Rock With You, P.Y.T., Ain't Nobody, Kiss, Never Too Much, Boogie Oogie Oogie, No Scrubs, plus newer material from Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.
