Ryan is also a registered marriage celebrant and can take the reception MC duties, so one booking can cover the ceremony, the music and the microphone. What to expect
The day and the night are two different acts, really. Early on it's soft, close acoustic material, love songs with the sort of harmonies you only get from two people who sing together constantly. Amelia and Ryan are married, and it shows in how the voices lock. Ryan plays acoustic guitar, Amelia moves between keys and cajon, and because both of them sing lead you end up with something closer to a trio than a duo. Then the evening turns. The gear switches to a DJ set and the floor fills. Ryan is a registered marriage celebrant too, so one booking can stretch across the ceremony as well.
On the day
You don't need to hire sound for them. Paper Hearts bring the lot: a portable PA for ceremonies outdoors where there's no power, the main system for the reception room, and party lighting for the dance floor later. There's a wireless mic in the kit for reception speeches and MC duties. They also bring a rug, which sounds like a small thing until you've seen a performance corner without one. Space for two performers plus the PA, and a power source at the reception end.
Performance options
Three lengths, each built around how much of the day you want covered. The shortest runs up to two hours and takes in pre-ceremony, the ceremony itself and canapes. The middle one stretches to five hours and adds dinner. The longest goes up to seven hours and carries through to the DJ set. Any of them can be booked as solo or duo, and the timeframe can be extended. Separate to that, Ryan can be hired as your reception MC or as your civil marriage celebrant, and there's a lighting upgrade that swaps the standard T-bar for 360 tube lights and up-lights.
