A brother and sister who play acoustic pop and French music, with guitar, cello and close harmony between them. They started out by winning a busking competition in their hometown of Bowral. Since then they've played live for ABC Radio and sung the national anthem for the Australia versus Thailand beach soccer final in Wollongong, filmed by SBS. Nyssa's French cover of Kendji's Andalouse passed a million views and led to producers approaching her about The Voice in France. Their debut EP, Seasons, came out in 2018. What to expect
Guitar, cello and two voices that have been singing together since childhood. For a ceremony they'll cover the walk down the aisle, the signing of the register and the walk back out, three songs chosen with you. Then live background music while guests are on pre-dinner drinks and photos are being taken, and something quieter through the meal. They'll learn one song that matters to you. Their system can be borrowed for the speeches and for music during their breaks, and they'll record something special for your video if you ask. French songs sit in the repertoire too.
On the day
Everything comes with them: two microphones, the guitar, the cello and two amplifiers. What they need from you is access to power and somewhere covered in case it rains, because a cello and a downpour are a bad combination. Worth thinking about early if the ceremony is outdoors.
Performance options
Bookings run by hours rather than by name. Two or three hours covers the ceremony and canapes, which suits a shorter day or a couple bringing in a DJ later. Four or five hours takes you through into the reception. Six or seven hours covers the ceremony, the canapes and a long stretch of the reception, so the live music carries most of the day without a gap in it.
