Friendly and easy going, which sounds like a small thing until you've booked someone who isn't. Ned mixes guitar, keys, stompbox and vocals, so a solo set still has rhythm underneath it rather than one instrument carrying everything. The covers lean Australian, plenty of Paul Kelly and Bernard Fanning sitting beside the older international standards. And if you've got a song you want to hear, ask. He'll play it if he knows it.
On the day
One powerpoint is the whole requirement on the power side. The playing area wants flat level flooring and some cover overhead, particularly if you're outside, so the gear isn't exposed. Nothing else needs arranging on your end.
