Bars Acoustic is a Cheltenham-based musical trio.
Bars Acoustic suits a wedding that starts gently and still needs a bit more momentum later on, without a jarring change in feel. The lineup can be an acoustic duo, a trio, or a duo with DJ, with Sarah on vocals and guitar, Ben on drums and Jack on piano. Their sound moves through pop, rock, jazz, soul and country, so an acoustic set could sit nicely through the ceremony or canapes, then the larger setup can carry more weight as the night opens up. They’re based in Cheltenham, Victoria, and Sarah also writes her own material. A notable extra is the scale of the stages they’ve played, including the Australian Open, the Formula 1 Grand Prix and St Kilda Festival.
