The act
Sharon Kemp and Adriano Regano built Mood Indigo around music's golden era, roughly the 1940s through to the 1970s, and they dress the part. Classic jazz standards done silky and smooth, smoky blues, plus pop, soul, country and folk from across those decades. Both are seasoned performers with stage, film and television behind them. They'll meet you beforehand to go through the detail, liaise with the venue about technical needs, and arrive early enough to be ready on time. Brisbane based, playing corporate events, cocktail parties and weddings. They need about 2 x 3 metres and power, though a battery rig covers outdoor ceremonies with no power at all.

Good to know
What to expect
Sharon and Adriano start talking to you long before the day. There's a meeting to work through the detail, and they'll deal directly with the venue about the technical side so you're not relaying messages between two parties. If a visit to the site would help them plan it properly, they'll make one. On the day they arrive early, set up, and are ready to play at the time on your run sheet rather than ten minutes past it. Any questions you have get answered as they come up, from the first enquiry through to the farewell at the end of the night.
On the day
About two metres by two to three is enough floor for the pair and their gear, plus access to power. And if you're planning an outdoor ceremony somewhere with no power at all, that's fine, they can run the whole system off a battery instead. Worth flagging when you enquire so they arrive set up for it.
