Anya sings and plays violin, Jane plays keys, and Mint Duo sit somewhere between a jazz standards act and a pop singalong. Which one you get depends on the hour. Autumn Leaves, La Vie en Rose, Fly Me to the Moon and My Funny Valentine for the quiet part of the evening, then Adele, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Beyonce once guests want to join in. Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra sit in there too, along with bossa nova, tango and a bit of classical. Playlists get built around your taste, sent back to you, then locked in. They carry everything they need, though they're glad to use a house piano or sound system where one exists. Indoors or out. Based in Brisbane, both hold a Blue Card.

Good to know
What to expect
Before anything is locked in you'll talk through the set times and where it's happening, then work out the playlist together. They send it back to you so you can check you're happy with it before the day. Equipment wise they carry everything needed, though if the venue has a piano or a PA system they'd rather use it. The performance works indoors or outside, so a garden ceremony followed by a room full of people later on is no trouble.
On the day
Set-up gets talked through beforehand rather than assumed. The things that come up are parking and how close they can get to load in, whether there's a PA to plug into, whether the venue has a real piano available, and where the power is. None of it is complicated. It just goes better when it's sorted before the day.
Performance options
Weddings can be booked as a ceremony, a reception, or both. The ceremony covers the processional, the signing and the recessional, plus 15 minutes of music either side. The reception can be booked on its own by the hour, or as a package pairing the ceremony with two hours afterwards. Sets run 45 minutes each, up to three of them. Corporate bookings, private parties and community events follow the same shape: a minimum of one hour, a maximum of three, in 45 minute sets.
