Midnight Black is a Central Coast Council-based cover band.

Courtney Keil and Adam Black front this band, and the two of them pull it in useful directions. Courtney sings country like she's telling you something, with three Best Female Vocal wins at the Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards behind her and an iTunes country chart topper. Adam is a trained guitarist and vocalist who folds jazz, soul, funk and blues into the arrangements. Behind them are career musicians with real road and studio years, and you hear that in how tight the thing sits. On the day
A covered, weatherproof performance space is the main one, keeping players and gear out of rain, wind and direct sun. Beyond that: a level, stable area big enough for the full set-up, drum kit, amps and room to move; reliable power close by with outlets suitable for professional audio; and easy load-in with parking near the stage. Outdoors, electrical gear needs proper protection from moisture. Somewhere secure to set up and leave equipment helps, and for evening shows a bit of lighting so everyone can see what they're doing.
