What to expect
The night runs at least three sets, each somewhere between 45 minutes and a full hour. That's a decent stretch of live music, and it leaves natural gaps for speeches or a break without anyone having to negotiate them on the night.
MG & The Shakers
The act
MG & The Shakers are fully self contained, which in their case goes further than most. Own PA, own amps, and a generator if the site has no power, so a paddock is as workable as a function room. The night runs at least three sets of 45 minutes to an hour. The material leans classic rock and pop across the sixties through the nineties, heavy on songs people already know: Alone With You, April Sun In Cuba, Brown Eyed Girl, Jumping Jack Flash, Dumb Things, Good Times, Come As You Are, Jet Airliner, Cold Shot, Are You Gonna Be My Girl. They'll also handle MC duties on the night if you need someone on the microphone between sets, and the PA is there for your speeches.

Nothing special is the honest answer. The band are fully self contained, carrying their own PA and their own amps, which means there's no house system to book and no hire gear for you to chase down in the weeks beforehand. Point them at the corner of the room you want them in and they'll sort the rest out themselves.
