The act
McKenzie are a Queensland four piece who play the 50s through to now, with a fair bit of crowd interaction and the odd twist on a familiar song. The venue list tells you what kind of band they are: Surfers Paradise Beer Garden, Broadbeach Tavern, Treasury Casino in Brisbane, The Hoey Moey, The Cooly Hotel, plus South Australian wine festivals. They've supported Foreigner, The Romantics, Ross Wilson, Shannon Noll and Reece Mastin on the Rock the Boat Cruise, and picked up a James Reyne support in Alice Springs. Nowhere seems too far. Book them as a duo, trio, four piece or six, and they bring their own PA and lights.

McKenzie were an absolute pleasure to have as our band for the 2018 Moreton Bay Region Business Excellence and Innovation Awards. The band absolutely hit the brief with their high energy, upbeat and engaging performances. The band were greatly received by the audience, up and dancing until calling out for an encore to end the evening. McKenzie were cooperative with timing alterations and were quick to set up during change overs. We cannot wait to have McKenzie back for another event and cannot recommend them higher.
