Xtreme Team
The act
This suits a wedding that wants a burst of spectacle in the middle of the night, especially if you'd rather surprise people than stick to the usual band setup. Xtreme Team performs as a five to eight person martial arts crew, mixing choreographed combat, acrobatic tricking and tightly timed group routines with music. At the front is Hakan Manav, a 7th Dan Taekwondo master, former Australian Taekwondo Team member and three time National Sparring Champion. For a wedding, this makes most sense as a feature between dinner and dancing, and it helps that the show can be shaped around the event without needing rigging, mats or power. Hakan and the academy have also appeared with Channel 7's Sunrise, Sony Pictures' Karate Kid, the NSW Swifts, the Sydney Flames and the Dubai Shopping Festival.
