The act
Seventeen musicians on a Brisbane stage is a proper big band, not a horn section bolted onto a covers act. Mango Jam plays swing, jazz, funk, soul, Latin and pop, which covers a corporate dinner, a wedding and a dance night without needing three different bookings. The sound is what you'd expect from a full brass and reed line-up, and the players treat it seriously. Practically speaking, you'll need to put out 16 chairs. Everything else the band needs comes with them and is built into the quote, so there's no separate list of gear to sort out on the day.

Good to know
On the day
Sixteen chairs is the whole ask. Put them out where you want the band to sit and the rest is already accounted for, because every other piece of equipment and all the setting up is built into the quote. Worth knowing that a 17 piece band needs a decent footprint, so have a think about where those chairs are going before the day rather than on it.
