The act
Lydia Smithers sings and plays guitar, working across pop, folk, R&B and soft rock from the eighties to now. What she's good at is the balance: finding the ache in a song when it's there, then turning the room around and getting everyone singing. The set mixes songs people already love with indie and alt tracks they'd forgotten how much they liked. She performs solo or as a duo, around Sydney, and brings all her own gear.
