The act
Luke Yeaman moved up from Melbourne in the early 2000s and has been playing around Byron Bay, Lennox Head and the Northern Rivers ever since, more than fifteen years of it professionally. His solo sets are the thing he's known for: careful acoustic reworkings of modern and classic songs that shift the feel of the original without losing the reason you liked it. Some of it will get a foot tapping. Some of it will just quietly get you. He also works as a wedding acoustic duo and DJs, so a whole day can run through one act.

What to expect
Acoustic guitar and a soulful voice, with the songs reworked rather than copied. Luke has played over 250 weddings and corporate events across the Byron Shire. Elements Resort, Kingscliff Beach Hotel, Raes at Wategos, The Byron at Byron and The Beach Hotel are all rooms he knows, so a wedding run sheet holds no surprises for him. On a wedding day he can move from a quiet personalised ceremony set into lighter canapé music, take your own requests through the day, and then DJ a playlist built to your taste once the dancing starts.
