What to expect
The harp is the thing people arrive expecting and it's rarely what they end up talking about. Loni Fitzpatrick trained classically, then went looking for what the instrument could do with effects pedals and live looping underneath it, so a single player fills far more air than the picture in your head suggests. It carries a wedding ceremony without any trouble. It also works as a feature spot at a corporate night, which is a harder ask and not every classical player can make the jump.
On the day
Access is the one to think about early. A harp is large and heavy, so Loni Fitzpatrick needs to reach the performance spot on the flat, or by ramp, or by lift. A flight of stairs is a real problem. She'll bring her own PA, which means a power source near where she's playing, and beyond that there's nothing for the venue to supply.
