The act
Lana Domeney trained at some serious institutions and has come off headlining work on international cruise lines, which is a decent apprenticeship for a room that won't sit still. With The Groove she plays Sydney as a duo or a band, and the material stretches from rock anthems to smooth jazz, taking in current pop, Motown, R&B, seventies and eighties, country and more. The duo takes requests on the night. Both formats will learn a specific song ahead of your event if you ask. Chill acoustic during dinner, sing-along energy later, depending on what the room wants. They arrive with their own PA and get straight into it.

Good to know
What to expect
What you get depends on what you ask for. Lana Domeney & The Groove can sit back into chill acoustic playing while people eat and talk, or push into the boogie and sing-along end and get the room moving, and they read which one your night needs. Pubs, restaurants, weddings, private parties and corporate events are all regular ground for them, as a duo or as a band. The material stretches wide enough that both moods come from the same setlist rather than two different acts.
On the day
The PA arrives with them. Park and play is how they put it, and that's about the size of it, so there's no equipment for you to organise or hire in.
Performance options
Two shapes, duo or band. The duo runs either three or four 45 minute sets, which covers most of an evening depending on where your speeches and formalities sit. The band works to the same set lengths with a bigger sound behind it. Tell them the venue and how long you need music for and they'll come back with the detail.
