Lady Jazz
The act
Lady Jazz play the classic end of the repertoire, and they play it for rooms where the music is meant to sit under the conversation rather than take it over. Singer Sarah holds a Masters degree in jazz voice and has more than 17 years of performance behind her, with credits around Australia and a 2009 release called This Way that still gets radio and cafe play. She is a careful reader of a lyric, which is the thing that separates a good jazz vocalist from a competent one. Book it as a duo with piano and voice, a trio with double bass, or a quartet with drums. They are happy to talk through song choices and take requests beforehand.

Lady Jazz was brilliant, we had to move them out of the room (due to size of room vs noise) so they did the guest arrivals and departures in the foyer – not quite as exciting but great none the less. Would definitely use them again!
