The PA comes with him, so there's nothing to hire and nothing to test beforehand. All he needs is access to power half an hour before your event starts, which gives him time to set up and get levels right before anyone walks in.
Four ways to have him, and every one includes the full PA and equipment. There's the acoustic solo set with guitar and vocals, or the same thing with electric guitar in the mix for a bit more bite. There's a guitar-only option with no vocals, which suits dinner or a ceremony where you want music underneath the conversation. And there's a DJ set for when the talking's done.
