What to expect
You get a band that turns up when they said they would, plays well, and is easy to deal with on the day. That sounds like faint praise until you've had the opposite. LA BOUM gig every week and have played rooms of every size, so a run sheet that changes an hour before doors doesn't rattle them. The music is where the real work shows. Every cover gets pulled apart and rebuilt before it reaches your stage, so you're not hearing the radio version played back at you.
On the day
They can bring small to medium scale production with them, which covers clubs and most smaller events without you having to source a thing. For bigger rooms, or if you want the lighting and sound to be a feature rather than just functional, that's worth flagging early. Tell them the venue size and what's already installed when you enquire, and they'll work out whether their own rig covers it.
