Close to ten years of gigging sits behind Kazzie Duo/Trio/Band, and the players alongside her are a big part of why the sound holds up. There's a male vocalist paired to the duo, trio and band formats, so the harmonies and the song choices widen out. Requests, chat and a laugh are all welcome. Tom on drums sings through the set, leaning toward Luke Combs territory, and he's keen to learn more. Jono on bass studied jazz at degree level and will run sultry jazz through cocktail hour and into dinner. Setup happens before your guests walk in, done properly and safely, so what people see is a band that's ready rather than one still running cables.
On the day
Outdoor bookings need a wet weather plan: solid shelter and safe access to power. For the acoustic soloist format only, a battery powered speaker is an option, which helps in a spot with no power at all. Lighting comes from her, along with break music between sets and a microphone for speeches if the formalities need one.
Performance options
Four formats, and the right one usually follows the part of the day. Soloist suits a ceremony and canapes. The duo stretches across ceremony, canapes and reception, and handles corporate functions too. The trio is a reception and corporate option. The full band is built for a reception, a venue or an event where the dance floor matters.
