Katie Visser turns up with her own gear, speaker, mixing desk, microphone and iPad, and it's all part of what you book rather than an extra line to chase. If there's a particular track you want in the set, tell her and she'll go and find it. Lighting, additional musicians or a trip out to a regional venue are the things that sit outside the standard arrangement, so mention them early.
She sets up her own equipment, so nobody at your end needs to lift anything. Two small things from you. One is a table, only a little one, for the mixing desk to sit on. The other is somewhere private to get changed. A back room or an office does fine for the second one.
