Kat Caton has played Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide, SkyCity in both Adelaide and Darwin, the Stamford Grand and Stamford Plaza, the Hilton, the InterContinental and the Playford, and has handled the annual awards nights for Channel 7 and Channel 9 for the past eight years, plus two years of the Australian Women's Golf Open. A full time singer, guitarist and singing teacher, Kat works acoustic solo or brings in electric guitar with backing tracks for a fuller sound without the full band cost. Extra musicians can join, including players from Mamma Mia, Rocky Horror and Jersey Boys. PA, lighting and speech microphones all come with. Set lists run from jazz to current top 40 and get tailored in a meeting beforehand, and Kat's happy to learn a song that matters to you. Often booked a year ahead.

Kat Caton Singer works acoustic guitar and voice, and that's the default. But she can bring in electric guitar over full backing tracks, which gets you close to a band sound without booking one. The PA and lighting rig comes with her, and there are microphones on hand for speeches, so your MC and your father-of-the-bride aren't left shouting. If there's a song that matters to you and it isn't already in the book, she'll learn it.
Roughly 4 metres by 2 for the performing area. Power is an ordinary wall outlet, nothing three phase, so a normal function room or a home is fine. Audio and lighting are all supplied by the artist, which keeps your hire list short.
