Kahlia sings, plays guitar and DJs, which means one person can carry a wedding from the aisle through cocktail hour and onto the dance floor. She started out in family band The Fergies, playing the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, the televised Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols, Bluesfest, Woodford Folk Festival and New Caledonia's Live En Route Festival. These days she fronts touring pop band JUNO. Two decades of gigs sit behind all of it, from small garden ceremonies to destination weddings. Her voice does both ends of the job: soft enough for a ceremony, big enough for a party band. Song requests are welcome and she's happy to learn something specific for the day. Solo and duo bookings can run off a battery powered speaker if power is awkward. Public liability insurance is held.

For a solo or duo booking, power if you have it, though a battery powered speaker will do the job when the spot you've chosen has none. That covers ceremonies out in a garden or on a beach. Band and DJ bookings are different: those need proper power outlets.
