Joy Music scales to the night. A solo artist for a small function, a four or five piece for a reception, brass added on top when the room deserves it, or a duo or trio for the ceremony and canapes ahead of the band. The dinner and dance set pulls from Uptown Funk, Valerie, I Want You Back, Levitating, Don't Stop Believin' and The Time of My Life, which tells you where the night is heading. Sets run forty to sixty minutes. All gear comes with them, plus music between sets and a hand with the run sheet if you want one. Newcastle based, and travelling further than a couple of hours means accommodation. Weddings, corporate functions, festivals and private celebrations.

What to expect
Joy Music turn up with everything they need, PA, instruments, mics and leads included. Sets usually run forty to sixty minutes. If there's a song that matters to you, ask and they'll work it in, and they'll have music playing between sets so the room doesn't go quiet. They're also happy to look over your run sheet with you and help sort the timing if that's useful.
On the day
Power, and a performance space of roughly 2 by 3 metres. If they're outdoors, some cover in case the weather turns. Meals for the band members are needed on the night. And anything more than about two hours from Newcastle means accommodation gets factored in when they quote.
Performance options
The main line-up is a four or five piece, with brass added on top if you want a bigger sound behind the dance set. Book them for the reception and you can also have a duo or trio playing the ceremony and canapes earlier in the day, which keeps the music consistent from start to finish.
