Rock and roll and country classics, played to a crowd of any age. Johnny Shilo has done the miles to know what works: cruise ships, then the whole east coast run through AFL and VFL clubs, rugby league and union clubs, RSLs, country music festivals, cabarets, river cruises, sports nights, farmers markets, private parties and corporate functions. He's been a guest artist at country music clubs too. The voice is deep and it sits well against his guitar, and the set covers the fifties through the eighties plus his own original material. Pub and club rooms keep booking him back, which tells you most of what you need to know.
On the day
Give him an hour and a half before start time. He brings his own PA and it needs setting up properly, so early access to the room makes the difference between a relaxed sound check and a rushed one. Worth checking with your venue that the space is free by then.
