What to expect
Six players and two lead vocalists, which is the thing that sets Jet Cassette apart from most cover bands their size. Joe and Venessa both sing lead and both sing backing, so you get real harmonies and two distinct voices instead of one and a bit. Behind them, Harvey plays lead guitar and sings, Tony's on keyboards and backing vocals, Craig's on bass and Lars is on drums. The set spans rock, pop, funk and soul, picked so that different generations in the same room all hear something they know. And the energy comes from the whole band rather than the front: driving bass, guitar solos, keyboard hooks. It's built to hold a dance floor from the first song.
On the day
The band carries its own PA and lighting, sized for small to medium venues, so there's no separate sound hire to organise and nobody arriving at your venue with a truck. What you're providing is the space and the power for it. If your room sits at the larger end, or you're outdoors with a big crowd, mention that when you enquire so the rig can be matched to the room properly.
