Piano and voice sit at the centre of it, but the night can go a lot of ways from there. Jeremy Bennett works across live keys, looping, percussion, DJ sets and MC hosting, moving between them as the room shifts. Quiet piano under canapes, then something with a beat once people have had a few and the floor starts filling. The songbook leans soul and R&B with pop through it: Ordinary People, Lovely Day, Adorn, Valerie, No Diggity, Dreams. A full PA can come along if the venue needs one, and the setup scales down for tight rooms. Weddings, corporate functions, private parties and venue work, all around Melbourne from a South Yarra base. Public liability insurance and a working with children check are in place.

What to expect
One booking that moves with the night rather than doing one thing all evening. Live piano and vocals, looping, percussion and beats, DJ sets and MC hosting, shifting between them as the room changes: quiet under the canapes, more energy once the floor starts filling. Every performance gets built around the audience, the schedule and the feel you're after. Weddings, corporate functions, private parties and venue nights are all regular work. And the parts that aren't music get handled too, so communication in the lead-up is straightforward and the sound is properly produced rather than plugged in and hoped for.
On the day
Standard power outlets, and a small area that fits a keyboard, sound gear and a microphone stand. Outdoor bookings need shelter and weather protection. He'll want access to the venue or loading area before the performance starts so there's time to set up and sound check properly. A full professional PA can come along where the venue hasn't got one, and both the DJ and live setups can be sized up or down depending on the space, guest numbers and what the event is.
Performance options
The acoustic set is live vocals and piano with a set list built for your event, background or feature style as needed, basic sound for a small to medium room, and planning beforehand. The hybrid version adds DJing across the same booking, moving between live and recorded music with a dance floor focus, full DJ and PA setup, and MC support for the key moments if you want it. The wedding package runs the whole day: ceremony music with your own song choices, a live set through canapes, reception entertainment mixing live and DJ, duo, trio or band options, optional MC hosting throughout, premium sound and coordination across the lot.
