The act
An indie folk-rock duo from the Sunshine Coast, built on violin, guitar and harmonies that sit close together. The songs lean toward the natural world, and the writing is intricate without being hard work to listen to. Festival credits include Woodford, Caloundra, Airlie Beach and Yackandandah. Founding member JC toured widely before this project began, playing Glastonbury, WOMAD, Bluesfest, Splendour and Port Fairy. Sustainability runs through the whole operation, down to eco-friendly merchandise and native seeds packed with the albums. Sets run up to three hours, mostly originals with a couple of covers. They can bring their own PA and basic lights.

Good to know
On the day
They can bring a PA and basic lights, or work with what the venue already runs. With their own rig they want a performance area of about five metres by three; if you're supplying sound, three by two and a half is enough. Power needs to reach them. Two conditions matter more than the measurements: they can't be in direct sunlight at any point during the show, so shade is essential, and the setup needs cover in case it rains.
