Jazz Central

Sunnyside is a Parramatta-based jazz duo.
Jazz standards sit next to folk, pop and rock classics from the seventies in a Sunnyside set, sung by two male voices. As a duo, Paul Baker sings and plays banjo and acoustic guitar, while Jim Ranieri sings and plays flute and tenor sax. For the trio, Paul Furniss joins on jazz clarinet. Paul Baker has performed in the Middle East, Asia, the United States and Australia. Based in Parramatta, they play acoustic instruments at a gentle level, so your guests can still talk during your wedding ceremony or over dinner. Requests are welcome, and they can work to your set list or a theme. A jazz standard while you sign the register, then a seventies singalong once the drinks are poured, would play to both sides of their music.
