Groove Resolution
The act
Groove Resolution is an Albury-based jazz band.
Hot jazz, swing, doo wop, Motown and a little Latin are the starting point here, with current songs pulled back through earlier decades so your guests hear something familiar in a very different shape. That could mean Taylor Swift, The Veronicas, John Farnham, AC/DC or Ariana Grande recast with a 1920s or mid century feel. For a wedding, that feels especially right through canapes or dinner, when you want recognisable songs without the room tipping into a full dance floor too early. There are cues from Postmodern Jukebox and Scary Pockets, and Groove Resolution also plays its own arrangements. Listen on this page and see whether that time-shifted take on pop lands the way you want it to.
