Jazz Central

Coucou Zazous is a Sydney-based jazz band.
The room would feel lighter with this lot playing, all bounce, groove and that easy lift that classic swing gives people before they’ve even reached the dance floor. Coucou Zazous are a Sydney, NSW ensemble drawing on 1930s swing and the Hot Club jazz tradition, with swinging guitar lines, sultry vocals and a driving rhythm section at the centre of the sound. Their music brings together jazz standards and French chansons, so you get vintage colour and plenty of movement instead of something that just sits in the background. For a wedding, that old world feel with real momentum would be especially lovely while guests spill from the ceremony into canapes. That’s the point in the day they’d be most fun to hear.
