What to expect
You get a solo guitarist and singer with more than twenty years of Gold Coast rooms behind him, and the detail work that comes with that. Jason Towers keeps most songs in the original key and arranged the way you know them from the record, which is a deliberate choice and one people pick up on quickly. The set follows the night: quiet through the early hours, dinner music when food is out, harder later if the crowd wants it. Requests are welcome. Fifty years of hits sit in the repertoire across a few genres, so there's usually something for whoever is in the room. He covers the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and will travel interstate.
On the day
One 240v outlet is all the power he needs. For space, aim for a stage or performance area of about two metres by three, which is comfortable rather than tight. Outdoor bookings need proper cover overhead, since the gear can't take rain or long stretches of direct sun. Sort the cover with your venue before the day and there's nothing else to organise.
